# How to use Send Interactive List Messages action component

Learn how to send interactive list messages on DoubleTick. Add headers, body, footers, and up to 10 buttons or sections to enhance customer engagement.

This powerful component empowers you to craft highly customizable messages tailored to your customers' needs, facilitating seamless interactions and enhancing engagement.

With the Send Interactive List Message Action, you have full control over the content of your messages. You're not limited to simple text; instead, you can add a Header, Body, and Footer to your messages, allowing you to provide comprehensive information in a structured and visually appealing format.

> **Interactive List Button:** The centerpiece of this feature is the Interactive List Button, which adds an interactive element to your messages.

### **Multiple Ways to Use the List Button:**

***To perform this action via API, please visit*** [***this link***](https://doubletick.readme.io/reference/outgoing-messages-whatsapp-interactive-list)

* **Add 10 Individual Buttons:** You have the option to include up to 10 buttons within a single message. This versatility allows you to provide customers with a range of choices and actions to select from, catering to various preferences and needs.

* **Organize Content into 10 Sections:** Alternatively, you can structure your message into sections, each containing multiple items. However, it's important to note that while each section can accommodate multiple items, the overall message can only contain a maximum of 10 items. Therefore, if you opt to have 10 sections, each section can have only one item, ensuring clarity and avoiding overwhelming the recipient with too much information.

### **Example Use Cases:**

* **E-commerce:** Offer customers a selection of products or categories to explore directly from the message, making it easier for them to browse and shop.
* **Customer Support:** Provide a list of frequently asked questions or troubleshooting options, allowing customers to find solutions to their queries quickly.
* **Event Management:** Allow attendees to RSVP, view event details, or select their preferred sessions or activities directly from the message.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://learn.doubletick.io/bot-studio/actions/messaging/how-to-use-send-interactive-list-messages-action-component.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
