Introduction to Funnel Analytics
Funnel Analytics in DoubleTick helps you understand how customers move through different stages of communication on WhatsApp.
Whenever your business sends a message or template to a customer, several actions may occur afterward. A message may get delivered, the customer may read it, the customer may click a button, or the customer may respond.
Funnel Analytics allows you to analyze these actions as a sequence of events, also called a funnel.
A funnel represents the journey customers take while interacting with your messages.
For example, a typical funnel may look like this:
Template Sent → Template Delivered → Template Read → CTA Button Clicked → Message Received
Using this funnel, you can clearly see:
How many templates were sent
How many customers received them
How many customers opened and read them
How many customers clicked the CTA button
How many customers responded after interacting
This helps you understand where customers are engaging and where they stop progressing in the journey.
Why Funnel Analytics is Useful
Businesses often measure only the number of messages sent. However, sending messages alone does not show how customers actually interact with them.
For example:
You send 900 templates to customers.
Out of those:
678 templates are delivered
543 templates are read
153 customers click the CTA button
97 customers send a response
Without Funnel Analytics, these stages are difficult to analyze.
Funnel Analytics helps businesses answer important questions such as:
Are our templates being delivered successfully?
Are customers actually reading our messages?
Are customers interacting with CTA buttons?
How many customers respond after clicking a CTA?
Where do customers drop off in the communication journey?
By understanding these insights, businesses can improve campaign performance, customer engagement, and support workflows.
