If you're already using DoubleTick with one or more WhatsApp API numbers, you may want to add another new phone number to the same account. This guide walks you through onboarding an additional channel inside your existing DoubleTick setup using Meta's Embedded Signup process.

Step-by-step guide to add a new WhatsApp API number
Step 1: Log in to your DoubleTick account Open the DoubleTick login page and enter your registered login phone number. Enter the OTP received, and log in using Primary Owner access.
Step 2: Go to Manage Channels in Settings On the left side, hover over the navigation panel and click on Settings. Inside Settings, click on Manage WABA.
Step 3: Click on "Add Number" On the top-right corner, click the green Add Number button.
Step 4: Choose Embedded Signup method In the pop-up, click Add Number using Embedded Signup. When asked to choose an onboarding method, select the second option, Connect WhatsApp API Number, then click Confirm and Proceed.
Step 5: Log in to Facebook Meta will redirect you to Facebook. If you're already logged in, it will show Continue with [Your Profile Name] — click Continue.
Step 6: Select Business Portfolio Click the dropdown and select the portfolio where you want to onboard this new number. Business Name, Website, and Country will auto-fill from the selected portfolio. Click Next.
Step 7: Select or create WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) If you want to add the number to an existing WABA, select it from the dropdown. If you want to create a new WABA instead, choose Create a New WhatsApp Business Account.
Step 8: Select or create WhatsApp Business Profile Use an existing profile, or click Create a New WhatsApp Business Profile, then click Next.
Step 9: Enter business profile details Fill in the WhatsApp Business Account Name, Display Name, and Business Category, then click Next.
Step 10: Add your new phone number Click Add a New Number, select your country code, and enter the new phone number you want to onboard.
Step 11: Verify the number Choose a verification method — Text Message (SMS) or Phone Call — and click Next. Enter the OTP received via your chosen method.
Step 12: Finish onboarding After OTP verification, click Finish. Meta will show "Connecting your account with DoubleTick…", and once complete, your number will reflect as Connected Successfully.
Your additional phone number is now onboarded and ready to be used inside DoubleTick for messaging, campaigns, automation, and support.
