# Onboard an additional WABA on Coexistence
Learn how to onboard an additional WhatsApp number on DoubleTick using Coexistence (Embedded Signup), from logging in to confirming a successful connection.
DoubleTick allows businesses to onboard multiple WhatsApp Business numbers under the same account. If you already have an existing WhatsApp Business number and want to connect it to DoubleTick using the Coexistence method, this guide walks you through the complete process step by step using Embedded Signup.

#### Prerequisites
Before starting, ensure the following:
* You have access to your DoubleTick account login credentials.
* The phone number you want to onboard is already active on the WhatsApp Business App.
* You have admin access to the correct Facebook account and Business Portfolio.
#### Step-by-step guide to add an additional number on Coexistence
**Step 1: Log in to your DoubleTick account**\
Open your browser and visit the DoubleTick platform. Log in using your registered mobile number and enter the OTP received on your phone. After logging in, you will land on the **Chat Section** of your account.
**Step 2: Open the WhatsApp number management section**\
From the Chat screen, move your cursor to the left side to expand the navigation panel. Click on **Settings**, then under Settings, select **Manage Channels**.
Here, you will be able to view all WhatsApp Business API numbers already onboarded in your DoubleTick account.
**Step 3: Click on "Add Number"**\
On the top-right corner of the Manage Channels screen, click the green **Add Number** button — a pop-up window will appear.
**Step 4: Select Embedded Signup method**\
Choose **Add Number using Embedded Signup**. You will be asked to select your onboarding method — DoubleTick provides two options, **Cloud API onboarding** and **Coexistence onboarding** (connect an existing WhatsApp Business number). For this guide, we will proceed with **Coexistence**.
**Step 5: Choose "Connect your existing WhatsApp Business number"**\
Select the first option, **Connect your existing WhatsApp Business number**, then click **Confirm and Proceed**.
**Step 6: Log in to your Facebook account**\
The system will prompt you to log in to Facebook for verification. Continue with the currently logged-in Facebook account, or click **Log in with another account** to select a different one. Once logged in, click **Continue**.
**Step 7: Select your Business Portfolio**\
After Facebook login, you will be asked to choose your Business Portfolio. Select the appropriate Business Portfolio from the list, then click **Continue** or **Next**.
**Step 8: Enter your phone number**\
Enter the phone number you want to onboard and click **Next**. A dropdown will appear — select **Add a new WhatsApp number**, confirm that the entered phone number is displayed correctly, then click **Next**.
**Step 9: Scan the QR code from WhatsApp Business App**\
A QR code will appear on your desktop screen. Open the **WhatsApp Business App** on your mobile phone, tap the option that says **Scan QR Code**, and scan the QR code displayed on your desktop.

This step allows WhatsApp to securely connect your existing account and share chat history from the last six months.

**Step 10: Confirm business details and time zone**\
Your Business Account Name will appear on screen. Select the correct **Time Zone** based on your country, then click **Next**.
**Step 11: Final confirmation**\
Click on **Confirm**. The system will display a message such as "Connecting your account. This may take a few moments," and initially it may show that the account is not yet connected. Click **Finish** — the page will load for a few seconds, and then the number will appear as **Connected Successfully** in your DoubleTick account.
You have now successfully onboarded an additional phone number in your DoubleTick account using the Coexistence (Embedded Signup) method. This process is ideal for businesses that want to continue using their WhatsApp Business App while also integrating the same number into DoubleTick for API-based messaging and automation.
