How to Connect Your Meta Catalog to Your DoubleTick Number
Connecting your Meta catalog to your DoubleTick WhatsApp API number allows you to showcase your products directly inside WhatsApp chats. Once connected, customers can browse products, view details, and even add items to their basket directly from WhatsApp.
This guide explains the complete process step-by-step in a simple and clear manner.
Before You Begin
Please ensure:
• Your Meta catalog is already created inside Meta Commerce Manager. • Your WhatsApp API number is already connected to DoubleTick. • You have admin access to Meta Business Manager.
Step 1: Access WhatsApp Manager from DoubleTick

Log in to your DoubleTick account.
From the homepage, navigate to the Facebook Account section.
On the right-hand side, click on the button labeled “Go to FBM Account.”
After clicking this button, a new browser tab will open automatically. You will be redirected to Meta’s WhatsApp Manager.
Step 2: Open Phone Number Settings in WhatsApp Manager

Once WhatsApp Manager opens, you will land on the Overview page by default.
In the left-hand menu under Account Tools, click on Catalog (located below Phone Numbers).
You will see a section titled: “Connect a catalog – Showcase your products and services to customers on WhatsApp.”
Click on the blue button labeled “Choose a Catalog.”
Step 4: Select the Catalog You Want to Connect

A Connect Catalog field will appear on the screen.
Click inside the search field.
A dropdown list will display all Meta catalogs associated with your Business Manager.
Select the catalog you want to connect to this phone number.
If you would like to review the catalog before connecting:
• Click on “View Catalog” on the right-hand side. • A new tab will open displaying the selected catalog. • Verify that this is the correct catalog. • Return to the previous tab to continue.

Step 5: Connect the Selected Catalog
Once you have confirmed the correct catalog selection:
Click the blue “Connect Catalog” button.
The catalog will now be successfully linked to your WhatsApp API number.
Step 6: Enable Catalog Features
After connecting the catalog, two toggle options will appear to control how customers interact with your products on WhatsApp.
1. Show Catalog Icon in the Chat Header When enabled, a catalog icon appears in the chat header, allowing customers to browse your products directly from the conversation.
To enable: Use the toggle button on the right-hand side and turn it ON.
2. Show Add to Basket Button on Product Pages and Chat When enabled, customers can add products to their basket directly within WhatsApp. A trolley icon will appear in chats and product pages.
Important: Disabling this will not affect previously received baskets.
To enable: Turn ON the toggle button on the right-hand side.
Final Verification
After enabling the required options:
Return to the Phone Numbers section.
Confirm that the catalog is successfully connected to your selected number.
The catalog icon will now be visible to customers inside WhatsApp chats.
Your Meta catalog is now fully connected to your DoubleTick WhatsApp API number and ready for customer interaction.
