# How to Onboard an Additional WABA in DoubleTick (Embedded Signup)
If you are already using DoubleTick with one or more WhatsApp API numbers, you may sometimes want to add one more new phone number to the same account.
This guide will help you onboard an additional WABA inside your existing DoubleTick setup using Meta’s Embedded Signup process.

You should follow this process if:
* You already have existing WhatsApp API numbers connected
* You want to add one more new WhatsApp API phone number to the same WABA

### ✅ Step-by-Step Guide to Add a New WhatsApp API Number
### **Step 1: Log in to Your DoubleTick Account**
1. Open DoubleTick login page
2. Enter your registered login phone number
3. Enter the OTP received
4. Log in using the **Primary Owner access**

### **Step 2: Go to Manage WABA Settings**
1. On the left side, hover over the navigation panel
2. Click on **Settings**
3. Inside Settings, click on **Manage WABA**

### **Step 3: Click on “Add Number”**
1. On the top-right corner, you will see a green button:\
**Add Number**
2. Click on the green **Add Number** button

### **Step 4: Choose Embedded Signup Method**
A pop-up will open.
1. Click on:\
**Add Number using Embedded Signup**
2. It will ask you to choose onboarding method
3. Select the second option:
✅ **Connect WhatsApp API Number**
4. Click **Confirm and Proceed**

### **Step 5: Login to Facebook**
Now Meta will redirect you to Facebook.
* If you are already logged in, it will show:
“Continue with \[Your Profile Name]”
* Click the **Continue** button

### **Step 6: Select Business Portfolio**
Meta will now ask you to select your Business Portfolio.
1. Click the dropdown
2. Select the portfolio where you want to onboard this new number
Once selected, these details will auto-fill:
* Business Name
* Website
* Country
Click the blue **Next** button

### **Step 7: Select or Create WhatsApp Business Account (WABA)**
Now Meta will show:
#### **Create or Select Your WhatsApp Business Account**
You will see a dropdown:
* If you want to add the number to an existing WABA → select it
* If you want to create a new WABA → choose:
**Create a New WhatsApp Business Account**

### **Step 8: Select or Create WhatsApp Business Profile**
Next, you must select a WhatsApp Business Profile.
Options:
* Use an existing profile
* Or click:
**Create a New WhatsApp Business Profile**
Then click **Next**

### **Step 9: Enter Business Profile Details**
Now you will be asked to fill:
* WhatsApp Business Account Name
* Display Name
* Business Category
Fill all details carefully, then click **Next**

### **Step 10: Add Your New Phone Number**
Now Meta will ask:
#### Add Your WhatsApp Phone Number
1. Click on **Add a New Number**
2. Select your country code
3. Enter the new phone number you want to onboard
⚠️ Important Note:
The number must NOT be active on:
* WhatsApp Messenger
* WhatsApp Business App
It should be unused at the time of onboarding.

### **Step 11: Verify the Number**
Choose verification method:
* Text Message (SMS)
* Phone Call
Click **Next**
* If SMS selected → Enter OTP received
* If Call selected → Enter OTP received via call

### **Step 12: Finish Onboarding**
After OTP verification:
1. Click **Finish**
2. Meta will show:
“Connecting your account with DoubleTick…”
3. Once completed, your number will reflect as:
✅ Connected Successfully

## 🎉 Done! Your New WhatsApp API Number is Now Added
Your additional phone number is now onboarded and ready to be used inside DoubleTick for messaging, campaigns, automation, and support.
