# Understanding the Templates Page

#### **What is the Templates Section and how to access it?**

The Templates section in DoubleTick is where you can view, manage, search, and filter all the WhatsApp message templates created under your account. Whether you have a handful of templates or hundreds, this page gives you full visibility and control over your entire template library.

To access it, hover over the left side of your screen — the sidebar (navigation panel) will slide open. Click on **Templates** from the list to open the main Templates page, where all your previously created templates are displayed.

At the top of the Templates page, you will find a set of filters that help you narrow down exactly what you are looking for.

**Search Box** Located on the left-hand side, just below the Templates heading. Type the name of any template here to search for it directly. This is especially useful when you have a large template library and want to jump to a specific one quickly.

**Channel** If you have multiple WhatsApp API numbers (channels) onboarded on DoubleTick, use the Channel dropdown to filter templates by a specific number. Select or deselect channels as needed to view only the templates associated with that particular API number.

**Status** Templates on DoubleTick can have one of four statuses: Approved, Pending, Rejected, or Other. Use the All Status dropdown to filter your templates based on their current approval status.

**Category** Templates are grouped into three categories: Marketing, Utility, and Authentication. If you want to view only your marketing templates, for example, open the Categories dropdown, deselect Utility and Authentication, and select Marketing. The page will then display only the templates that match.

**All Agents** If multiple team members in your account create templates, you can use the All Agents dropdown to filter templates by the agent who created them. You can select one agent or multiple agents depending on what you need to view.

On the right-hand side of the Templates page, you will find two layout options: **Grid View** and **List View**. Both have corresponding icons. Click the left-side icon to switch to Grid View, or the right-side icon to switch to List View. Choose whichever layout you find easier to work with.

Each template displayed on the page shows the following details:

**Name** — The name of the template as it was saved.

**Category** — Whether the template is a Marketing, Utility, or Authentication template.

**Language** — The language in which the template was created, displayed on the right-hand side.

**Preview** — A preview of the template content so you can see exactly what the message looks like.

**WABA (Channel)** — The WhatsApp API number(s) the template is associated with. If a template is linked to more than one channel, it will show the count accordingly (e.g., 2 channels, 3 channels).

**Status** — The current approval status of the template: Approved, Pending, Rejected, or Other.

**Created By** — The name of the agent who created the template.

**Created On** — The date the template was originally created. You can click the arrow next to this column to sort templates in ascending or descending order.

**Last Updated** — The date the template was most recently edited or updated. This column also supports ascending and descending sorting using the arrow next to it.

**Last Used On** — The date the template was last sent out. This helps you track which templates are actively being used and which ones may need attention.
