How to Use Newline Characters in Template Variables In DoubleTick

This article explains how you can seamlessly insert spaces in your template text using simple techniques. Step 1: Create a Template with Variables

  1. Design the Template:

    • Include placeholders (variables) where details will be dynamically added.

    • Use text and variables in your template, ensuring the content is meaningful and concise.

Step 2: Choose a Broadcast List or Chat

  1. Navigate to the Broadcast or Chat Interface:

    • Open the chat or broadcast you want to send message.

    • Click on the template and select the the template

Step 3 : Adding the content

  1. Click on send button and in the body variable part add the content and wherever you want to break the lines (add new line character ) new backwardslash and n (\n) before the text

Step 4: Sending the template

  1. Now you can click on send now button to send the message

  2. It will appear as expected at the customer end
