How to Send and Schedule Broadcast Messages

Learn how to send and schedule broadcast messages on DoubleTick. Create or select a target recipient list and set future send times for effective communication.

Send Broadcast Message

To send a broadcast message, follow these steps:

  • From the left panel, navigate to "Broadcast List."

  • Select the list you want to send the broadcast message to. (Alternatively, you can create a new list and import customers into it)

  • Once you click on the "Send Template" button, a pop-up "Template" box will appear.

  • "Add Variables to Template" pop-up window will appear, allowing you to input or map the variables within the template.

  • Once you've completed this step, click the "Next" button to continue

  • After configuring the template and variables, a "Send Template" pop-up will appear

  • This pop-up will display the total count of contacts the template will be sent to

  • This action will initiate the distribution of the template to the specified contacts

  • Broadcast Message sent to customer successfully !


Schedule Broadcast Message

  • A "Send Message" pop-up will appear. In this pop-up, click on the "Select Date and Time" button. This will allow you to choose the specific date and time for sending the broadcast message.

  • A pop-up calendar will appear. You can use this calendar to choose the broadcast date by clicking on the desired date.

  • Next, select broadcast Time and click on OK

Here we have schedule a broadcast for 21st March 2024 at 1:30 PM 👇

  • Broadcast successfully schedule for 21 March, 2024 at 1:30 PM

  • Broadcast Status: Enqueued

  • Broadcast List Name: Feature Update


To perform this action via API, please visit

In the Broadcast List window, click on the "Send Template" button

In this box, you can search for the template you wish to send. Once you've found the desired template, click on the green arrow button next to the template to select it for sending

To proceed with sending the broadcast message, click on the "Send Now" button

To schedule a broadcast message for later, click on the "Send Later" button. (Check the above steps)

Now, after selecting the desired broadcast date from the calendar, click on the "Schedule Message" button.
