# Update a Team Member’s Name in DoubleTick.

If a team member in your DoubleTick account has left the organization, and their phone number is reassigned to a new agent, you may notice that the old team member's name continues to appear in the system. This can happen because DoubleTick retains the name associated with the number unless updated manually. Here's a simple guide to update the team member's name:

Steps to Update the Name

1. Log In to Your Account The new team member should log in to their DoubleTick account using their credentials.<br>
2. Navigate to Settings Once logged in, click on the Settings option from the menu.<br>
3. Access Your Profile Under the Settings section, select Your Profile. Here, the old agent’s name will still be visible.<br>
4. Edit the Name oLook for an Edit option next to the name. oClick on it, and update the name to reflect the new team member’s details.<br>
5. Save the Changes After entering the correct name, click on Save or Update to apply the changes

Verification Once the name is updated, it should reflect across the account. If the old name still appears, refreshing the browser or clearing the cache may help.
