DoubleTick + Zoho CRM Chrome Extension

We’re excited to introduce a brand-new capability for Zoho CRM users — the DoubleTick Chrome Extension.

This extension bridges the gap between WhatsApp-based communication and CRM workflows, making communication with leads faster, smoother, and more natural.


Why This Matters

Until now, integrating DoubleTick directly inside Zoho CRM required users to be on Zoho’s Enterprise plan due to iframe restrictions. This meant that teams on lower-tier plans couldn’t embed DoubleTick inside Zoho CRM without upgrading.

To remove this dependency and enable a seamless experience for all Zoho CRM users, regardless of plan, we built a Chrome Extension that brings DoubleTick directly into Zoho’s interface without friction.

This enhancement unlocks WhatsApp communication for every Zoho CRM user — no Enterprise upgrade required.


What You Can Do with the Extension

Once installed, the DoubleTick-Zoho Extension lets you initiate WhatsApp chats directly from Zoho CRM. Instead of switching tabs or juggling tools, your team can connect with leads faster from the same screen where deals and contacts are managed.

How the Extension Enhances Your Workflow

Once the extension is installed, Zoho CRM gets a new DoubleTick button right next to the existing action buttons along with an Icon on left bottom corner. When you click this button or icon, DoubleTick opens in a small popup window on the same screen — no need to switch tabs, no need to leave Zoho.

You only have to log in once using Firebase authentication, and the extension keeps you logged in for future use. Now, when DoubleTick opens, it takes you to the main Chats Section instead of automatically opening the chat of the lead you are viewing in Zoho. This gives you more control and keeps things consistent across different CRM views.

If you want to message that specific Zoho lead, just follow a quick 3-step process:

  1. Copy the lead’s phone number from Zoho CRM

  2. Click the DoubleTick button

  3. Open New Chat inside DoubleTick, paste the number, and send your message

This flow is easy, fast, and avoids unnecessary switching between tools — making lead communication smoother inside the CRM itself.
