Understanding Funnel Conversion Metrics

Once the funnel is created, DoubleTick displays the funnel with event counts and conversion percentages.

Example funnel results:

Templates Sent: 903 Templates Delivered: 678 Templates Read: 543 CTA Button Clicked: 153 Messages Received: 97


Conversion from Previous Step

This metric shows the percentage of users who moved from the previous event to the next.

Example:

Template Delivered → Template Read

543 out of 678 customers read the template.

Conversion rate = 80 percent.


Conversion from First Event

This metric shows the percentage of users who reached a step compared to the first event.

Example:

Template Sent → Template Read

543 out of 903 customers read the template.

Conversion rate = 60 percent.


Overall Funnel Conversion

This metric shows how many users completed the final step of the funnel.

Example:

903 templates sent 97 customer responses

Overall conversion = 11 percent.

This metric represents the overall effectiveness of the communication journey.
